Mr. Paul Vanderpool is the Head Director of Orchestras at Lebanon Trail High School. Before coming to Frisco, TX, Mr. Vanderpool held the position of Head Director of Orchestras at Rowe High School in McAllen, TX, and is the founder of the Rio Grande Valley Chamber Music Society. Prior to teaching Mr. Vanderpool taught private cellos lessons, and worked for the Central Texas String Academy and Baylor University String Project. From 2002-2012, Mr. Vanderpool worked and conducted at the Baylor University Middle School and High School Orchestra camps. 

        Mr. Vanderpool graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors of Music Education and Masters of Music Performance degree. While studying at Baylor University, Mr. Vanderpool served as Principal cellist with the Baylor Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, and as a member of the Baylor University Graduate String Quartet. As a free-lance cellist, Mr. Vanderpool has performed with the Waco Symphony, Valley Symphony, and Kingsville Symphony Orchestras, and the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving.

Yumiko Endo Schlaffer  has been steadily gaining a reputation as a masterful artist ever since her impressive American debut recital in May 2000 at the Carnegie Recital Hall in New York, shortly after her completing her Masters degree from the Juilliard School.

        She has been a recipient of numerous awards, including First Prizes in the Japan International Harp Competition –in both Young and Advanced divisions. Ms. Endo Schlaffer is one of the most distinguished harpists in her native Japan, and she was honored with the opportunity to perform at the Imperial Palace for Her Majesty the Empress and Her Royal Highnesses. Ms. Endo Schlaffer has performed throughout the US, Europe and Asia. Her solo engagements include appearances with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, San Angelo Symphony, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Allen philharmonic, and she had been also invited as a solo artist by Chicago Chamber Musicians, Basically Beethoven Festival in Dallas, The Wartburg Symphony, New World Symphony, among others. Ms. Endo Schlaffer is the president of the American Harp Society in Dallas and has been serving as a board member since 2007.

Aline Moore is an orchestra educator, adjudicator, and violinist in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Currently she serves in the orchestra team at Lebanon Trail High School.
Ms. Moore came to LTHS after serving five years as Head Orchestra Director at Clark Middle School in Frisco. In prior years, Ms. Moore taught private lessons at a number of schools in Dallas/Fort Worth.
A native of Brazil, Ms. Moore began studying the violin at age eleven. She continued her studies in college and received her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance at Federal University of Minas Gerais. Ms. Moore went on to serve as violin professor at Federal University of Uberlandia and Espirito Santo College of Music.
In 2005, Ms. Moore moved to Campbellsville, Kentucky to pursue a Master’s degree in Arts of Music at Campbellsville University. While in Kentucky, she appeared with the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, and held the position of concertmaster in Campbellsville University’s orchestra.
In 2010 and 2011, Ms. Moore was a section violinist with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and also appeared regularly with the San Angelo Symphony.
Ms. Moore is an active member of TMEA, TODA, ASTA, and TMAA. She has served as TMEA Orchestra Chair for Region 24, serves in the IDEA committee for TODA, the DEI committee for ASTA, and is a fellow for the FASE Fellowship for Diverse String Teachers. She lives in Lewisville with her husband, their daughter Maya, and golden retriever, Waffles. During her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, traveling, and going to brunch.
